We're taking the girls back to Utah on Wednesday. They've been here for two weeks now and it's been really fun! So this last weekend we wanted to do something really fun with them. Saturday we decided to go to the beach... it's about an hour and a half away from where we live. So we threw on our bathing suits, grabbed sometowels and jumped in the truck. It was the perfect day to be there. We layed out our towels on the nice hot sand and relaxed for a while. Alexis and Edith decided to go swimming. They were having so much fun, and I loved watching them enjoy themselves. They were jumping in the waves, building sand castles and digging for sea shells. Tristan, Martin and I just layed out in the sun. It was so relaxing! I would've gone in the water with Tristan but he's scared of the waves :( After the beach we wentout to eat at Applebees. I LOVE Applebees! I had a delicious bacon chedder cheeseburger and a Kiwi Lemonade (the best lemonade in the word). We then went to the Ontario Mills Mall and walked around for a bit. We were all so exhausted and decided to head home. It was a really fun day. So Sunday we just chilled. We watched a couple of movies and played some wii. We also had to go grocery shopping because now that we have two extra mouths to feed (not to mention they're teenagers) we go through a lot of food! Then I cooked a delicous meal. I put some bbq chicken in the crockpot for a few hours. I also made homemade mashed potatos, and corn. Oh, and can't forget the Kool-aide! Edith baked us a chocolate cake for dessert and Me and Tristan frosted it.... well I frosted the cake and he frosted his face.

Hopefully I'm done fixing everything on my page. I think I've learned a lot about this stuff the past two days. Martin comes home today from the field (thank god)... He's been gone for a few days now and I'm going out of my mind! I really need to clean the house though. Whenever he's gone I ALWAYS procrastinate on the house work till right before he's on his way home.
My little sister Alexis (17) and Martin's little sister Edith (15) are here visiting for the summer. So you can only guess what my house looks like with two extra teenagers in the house lol. Not to mention the grocery bill! Usually it's just Tristan and I hear alone so we don't go through very much food, but with two more mouths to feed it's insane. It makes me second guess having more children lol. The dishes are doubled, the cooking is doubled, and the electricity bill is probably going to be sky high. But hey, I love having the company and talking to someone other than a 1 year old's gibberish. Tuesday we watched a whole martathon of Ghost Hunters so we decided to do a little bit of ghost hunting ourselves. We convinced ourselves my attic was haunted. So we grabbed the video camera, and stacked two chairs below the attic (we don't have a ladder). Well we pretty much freaked ourselves out so that ended real quick lol. Then we decided to make music videos. We went through my wardrobe and dressed up all colorful crazy like and danced and mouthed the words to California Gurls by Katie Perry. It was a hilarious disaster haha. So our week hasn't been all that boring.

Yaaayyy!! I have finally created a blog! I read a lot of my friends blogs and I came to think that maybe I should start one too (but that was before I found out how freaking confusing it is)! I had no idea how to set this thing up. It's hard! Everytime I thought I was making it look better, I was really screwing everything up. Soooo after a long stressful search through every link in the google search engine, I figured it out. So, HOORAY for me :)

Today was a pretty boring day. Martin has been out in the field all week. For those of you who don't know, in military terms, going out to "the field" is when they go out to the middle of nowhere and do various training. When we were in Kentucky, they called it checkpoint 37. Here in Cali, its just the desert. Martin and his fellow soldiers get to dress up like Iraqi soldiers/civillians and do kind of like a demonstration of what Iraq is like. They train the soldiers who are preparing to deploy... show them what they're in for.

Anyways, I get super bored while Martin is out there. I have to resort to facebook and myspace for entertainment :D Although, most of my time is dedicated to raising my beautiful son Tristan who is now 15 months! WOW! Where has the time gone??!!
